First, welcome to my new blog. I’m very excited about telling everyone about my experience and help other people starting their own business.
If you are looking for a way to start your own business, this is a good place to start. There are many more resources out there that can help you in every step of the way, but everything depends on how much effort you are willing to put on this.
Why do you want to start a business?
Ok, let’s begin with the reason why you want to start a business. Do you have a great idea you think will help others and help you gain some money too? Dislike being stuck on your 9-5-hour job and think you can do something better? Your job is just not working for you? Wish for more freedom to spend on family or on other things that do matter? Want to be a millionaire?
Well, if you want to be a millionaire fast this will not happen anytime unless you’re lucky and hit the jackpot with an awesome product or service you are selling and it’s popular. Other than that, this will take time, especially when you’re a beginner and you have no experience.
Another thing to consider, are you willing to put all the extra effort? Are you willing to fail and restart again? Are willing to sacrifice some of your free/fun time to work on the success of your business?
Are you uncertain to start?
Do you have any uncertainties about starting your business? Lack of money? Unsure if this will be successful? Afraid of failing? I know I had many doubts about how and when to start a business. But I had someone pushing me forward to making a business. Although I did fail at my business at first, it began to bloom a bit and I began to realize what was doing wrong. Don’t get me wrong, it took a lot of research and reading to understand how to make some income in your business. You will need to take risk at times, even if you don’t a business, right?
Sometimes it best to research how other people did it and go for it. It’s good to have a business counselor or many business influences for better motivation and guidance.
Important advice: sometimes you might do all the research of the world, you might know everything you need to know, but the feeling of uncertainty and doubt is an important factor of what is holding you up. I know I had this stop me many times and I would get nervous and anxious. I would doubt my decisions and if I was capable to start a business. Don’t fuss about it. When you start something new, such as driving, a new job, cooking, or any new skill, you’ll make mistakes. That’s okay. Why? No one is perfect, you are here to learn and bloom to something better. Don’t give up. There are many solutions that can help you. You just need to know what there are and seek for a solution. Hang in there!!
Let me give you another tip, when starting a business. Everything takes time, organization, and patience. Learn from your mistakes and fix or improve what you need. This skill takes time and motivation, it’s not easy for everyone. Family/friend support is helpful as well as from someone that can mentor you. There are many influencers, blogs, books, courses, youtubers, couches, and more. These are really good resources to help you in every step of the way. There’s help all around, you need to look for what best fits you.
What type of business should you open?
First of all, look at your talents, hobbies, skills, anything you are good at. Write down as many ideas as you can think of. Then think, which of these solutions will help solve a problem and how. For example, if your are good at cooking, teach others your recipes. If you’re good at math, maybe consider becoming a tutor.
If you’ve being curious about learning a new skill, this might be your chance.
After you have some ideas, search online to see how popular your idea might be. I know you are thinking about money first, but in order to be successful, you have to think smart. See from another point of view, how to tackle a problem.
I recommend you pick a niche, aka. a certain topic of choose. Why? It’s easier to work with when it comes to finding your audience, marketing, and more.
What to do next?
After you have made up you mind, you are ready to begin. Start by writing a business plan. It’s a blueprint of how your business will be made and manage. It has details such as expenses, what needs to be filed and more. Write step by step what will you do to make this happen. You’ll have an estimate of how much money 💵 you’ll need and what you’ll need for it.
Some parts might not qualify for your business but it’s always good to have a note on everything you did.
